I don’t know about you guys but I know I’m super excited for the year 2018!!! I could go on and on typing about how 2017 was a challenging year for me, but honestly I rather not.
I prefer to leave the past dead and gone while never looking back because I choose to think in a more positive space to help me transition into a new and improved life.
For me, the new year of 2018 is literally going to be a time for learning, growing, developing and building my capabilities to reaching my goals.
This could be my most focus intense year ever because I want to prove to myself that there are no limitations. I have to prove that the only thing or person that stands in my way is literally myself. You can do anything you put your mind to even if it’s I can’t and I want to be living proof in those exact words.
For those words to be absolutely true and necessary, it’s all about having faith and lead with action. Part of my plan is hustling smart and commit through the tasks at hand.
To accept 2018 in starting fresh and new, I have to be honest with myself and realize that I will come across some challenges, frustrations, disappointments, fears and possibly some pain in the way.
Yet, there’s also the possibility of having great moments in building and growing a brand, gaining lifetime experiences, meeting new people, developing new friendships, expanding or developing passions, exchanging ideas, networking, evolving my mental, physical, and spiritual self. Everything that I want to align my future self with.
That’s why it’s so important for me to believe in the power of goodbye. It can literally be a good thing whether you want to accept it or not. Sometimes, walking away is a great gift in disguise. Consider the life you want possibly being a window of opportunities, simply leaving the unnecessary shit behind.
Lately, many people have been asking me, what are your plans for the new year’? While they ask I can tell on their faces that they are waiting for me to drop an entire list of my personal goals or undesired traits that I would like to improve for 2018.
But instead, I simply reply, “I plan to pray, meditate, and get focus.” Having a general statement allows me to protect my goals because I want to be sure that the goals I want to execute are in a place of movement versus me just speaking on it with no action plan being done. I don’t want to overshare all my goals just yet but I will give a few hints: fitness, branding, book, and event planning.
To follow my journey, I’m using most of my social media platforms including this website to share, give advice, tips, updates, inspirational stories, and so forth to chronicle my goals in practically all aspects of my life. It’s going to be a ride that I hope once shared will aspire others to get their own mission done. Let’s make 2018 our most powerful year ever!!!
Until next time . . . .
